Today we woke up at 5:30 a.m. we packed up camp and headed to Klickitat Fisheries where we got to see how they test the fish first they would trap them andthey would be sent through tubes then after they would send them to the lab they would shock the fish after they would put pit tags to see where they go and how fast it was going, John Washines gave us a tour to where Native Americans would fish and still fish and he would tell us about how it’s in our culture and if we’re first time fishers we give it to our elders or to our family members who can’t fish anymore we also give back to the river from what we take. After we left the Fisheries we went to our next campsite which was dechutes on the way we stopped at bend and went to safeway to catch up on self groceries I bought a lot of snacks to probably last a week but it was fun to be in a store after 3 days in the woods but as soon as we got here we set up camp when we finished it was time to eat and we were doing our blogs at the same time we had chicken alfredo for dinner we then went to bed it was a really short day but it was still good.
